Data Collector Recruitment Notice

I. Quantitative & Qualitative data collectors

Required number: 4 for Qualitative & 8 for Quantitative

Place of Work: In different Kebeles of below listed Woredas;

– Fogera Woreda (South Gondar Zone)

– Hulet Eju Enessie Woreda (East Gojam Zone)

– Guangua Woreda (Awi Zone)

– Shebel Berenta Woreda (East Gojam Zone)

– Jabitenan Woreda (West Gojam Zone)

–  Debay Tilat Woreda (East Gojam Zone)

– Quarit Woreda (West Gojam Zone)

– North Mecha Woreda (West Gojam Zone)

Duration: 12 -14 days (Including orientation & traveling days)

Date of advert: 8/2/2023

Application End Date: 14/2/2023, 12:30 PM

Key responsibilities

– Attain the orientation and pretest organized by CARE Ethiopia

– Conduct quality interview as per the guideline

– Ensure Privacy and confidentiality of study subjects.

– Carry out in depth interviews with selected respondents, key informants at kebele and woreda level with service providers, project participants/beneficiaries and partners.

– Carry out FGDs, record success stories and most significant changes.

– Record conversations and take field notes

– Translate and transcribe from local languages into English (for qualitative part)

Job requirements

 

Qualifications and experience

• Degree and above in public health, Sociology, Social Work, Gender, or other related profession with more than 3 years of work experience.

• Experience in Quantitative & qualitative surveys (data collection, qualitative data analysis and write up)

• Experience using data to support evaluation efforts and strong levels of data literacy

• Speaking and writing fluency in English and Amharic languages

• Excellent written, verbal, and inter-personal communication skills.

Payment Scale: Daily rate, with CARE scale
