Overview:
The Porter is responsible for the safe and efficient transport of patients, specimens, and equipment within the hospital. The ideal candidate will be physically fit and have a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities:
• Transport patients to and from their rooms, the operating room, and other areas of the hospital
• Assist with the transport of specimens and equipment
• Maintain a clean and safe patient environment
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures
• Keep accurate records of patient transport
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Experience
.
• Completed high school or equivalent
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects
• Excellent physical condition
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate and empathetic nature
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
