(LHC) is an integrated health care solutions company that provides high quality, advanced & a yet accessible and affordable specialized clinical services, import and distributes pharmaceuticals, teaching health fields and manufacturing factory products in Addis Ababa and Hawassa cities.

Currently, LHC comprises 9 divisions /business lines:- Yanet Internal Medicine Specialized Center (YIMSC – A.A and Hwassa), Yanet Trauma and Surgical Specialized Center (YTSSC – Hawassa), Yanet Priamary Hospital (YPH -Hawassa) ,Yanet Drugs and Medical Supplies Wholes Sale (YDMSWS – Hawassa), Yanet –  Liyana college of Health Sciences (YLCHSs – Hawassa), LHC Health Consultancy and ,Yali medical detergents, cosmetics & chemicals manufacturing (A.A )

LIYANA HEALTH CARE PLC would like to recruit potential candidates for the position of Customer Service and Marketing Head to assign at Head quarter in Hawassa and  Yanet Specialized Internal Medicine Center (YSIMC) in Addis Ababa.

Positions Summary:

The position holder leads and manages the functions of the customer handling and information services.

She/he is responsible for varied front-line roles that include reception, facilitation of clinical care, client communication, and handling client complaints. The client communication aspect includes handling all patients related face to face or telephone enquiries from various stakeholders including patients and internal colleagues..

He/she will be in charge of leading organization’s marketing efforts and will be responsible for providing guidance to marketing activities by evaluating and developing marketing strategies, planning and coordinating marketing efforts, communicating the marketing plans to those involved, and building awareness and positioning for organization’s brands.

He/she will also be working closely with finance department to develop a pricing strategy that will help to maximize profits and market share and will be in charge of organizing organization’s conferences, trade shows, and major events.

 

 Responsibilities for job positions:

  • He/she is a member of specialized medical center Technical Management Committee and participates in management team meetings.
  • In conjunction with Human Resources department and the center Management he/she recruit, select, appoint, motivate, and retain appropriate staff under its department .
  • Work with the heads of clinical and therapeutic service departments.
  • Provide induction to new staff and develop the knowledge and skills of existing staff.
  •  Review the performance and competence of staff through periodic performance appraisals.
  • Prepare the work unit’s annual activity plan and budget, and participates in the overall planning and budgeting.
  • Be a role model for excellent customer service.
  • Manage patient handling processes including registration, distribution, sequencing, waiting time,  and maintaining medical records to ensure efficient and effective service in the best interests of the customer/patient,
  • Ensure that staffs under the department properly direct patients in the waiting areas.
  • Liaise closely with specialists’, clinical and non-clinical departments/colleagues within the division to gather information relevant to patient enquiries,
  • Identify customer needs and provide all relevant information about services, specialists, fees and payment.
  • Build marketing plans and budgets for the smooth operation of marketing campaigns.
  • Prepare social media marketing campaigns and strategize them such that they align with the organization objectives.
  • Create and monitor an advertisement on various platforms keeping the organization vision aligned.
  • Prepare annual marketing budget.
  • Identify opportunities to reach new market segments and expand market share.
  • Evaluating and developing our marketing strategy and marketing plan.
  • Planning, directing, and coordinating marketing efforts.
  • Researching demand for our services.
  • Identifying potential customers.
  • Compiling lists describing our offerings.
  • Building brand awareness and positioning.
  • Coordinating marketing projects from start to finish.
  • Organizing company conferences, trade shows, and major events.
  • Overseeing social media marketing strategy and content marketing.
  • Create reports for marketing department.

Education/Qualifications
  • BA Degree in Health science, Management, Business Management, Marketing Management, Hotel & Tourism Management and other related fields.

Work experience

  • 3 years and above in customer service and marketing head experience.
  • Experience in Private health institution or hospitality service facility is may be advantageous.
  • Proven marketing campaign experience
