Development Expertise Center (DEC) is a National Civil Society Organization (CSO) aspires to see all marginalized children properly fostered. The organization has four major program areas; Child Development, Gender and Life skill Development; Skills and Entrepreneurship Development and Lobby & advocacy DEC works in four National Regional States of Amhara, Afar and Oromia Benishangul and Addis Ababa City Administration. DEC would like to recruit on the following position:
Youth Friendly Service provider (4) for Bahir Dar Cluster

Job Description
Duties and responsibilities of Youth Friendly Services worker
1. Provision of IEC/ BCC, counseling and referrals on HIV, reproductive health and sexual violence, drug and substance abuse, care and family planning.
2. Prevention of unwanted pregnancy by providing contraceptive like protective methods if (dual protection) including condom.
3. Create referral linkage for better services into nearly health center.
4. Care and support for PLW HIV/AIDS
5. Fill properly and report youth Intake forms at youth centers.
6. Work closely with youth groups to increases awareness of demand for, and access to youth-friendly services
7. Work in collaboration with Health service providers and youth friendly service officers for tracking and documentation of achievements and challenges including key learning and best practices.
8. Identify youth friendly service setups, working conditions and organize experience sharing.
9. support the identification of barriers for the youth friendly service in each youth centers

Job Requirements
– Age 15-29
Experience Minimum of 1 years’ post training working experience
Qualification:-
A Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing or Clinical Medicine
• A Diploma in Nursing or Clinical Medicine with at least 2 years of Clinical experience in lieu of a degree
• Training in provision of youth friendly services
Salary and benefits: As per DEC’s salary scale and benefit packages
