Introduction
The World Bank Group is now accepting applications for its prestigious Young Professionals Program (YPP), aimed at attracting talented individuals worldwide to help combat poverty and promote sustainable development.
For over 60 years, the YPP has been a gateway for emerging leaders to join the World Bank, International Finance Corporation (IFC), and Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency (MIGA). The program seeks candidates with diverse backgrounds, strong technical skills, and a commitment to the organization’s mission.
Selected participants will enter a five-year contract, beginning with two years of rotational assignments across different departments. This experience allows YPs to gain a comprehensive understanding of the World Bank Group’s operations in areas such as economics, technical specialization, and investment management.
In addition to hands-on roles, YPs will participate in the YP Academy, which offers training in technical and operational skills, language courses, negotiation, business, and leadership development. Mentorship and coaching from senior leaders are also integral parts of the program.
Applicants must be ready to start full-time by September 8, 2025, and may be placed in Washington, D.C., or various international offices, requiring flexibility to relocate. Eligible candidates and their dependents may qualify for G-type visas. Comprehensive benefits are included in the employment package.
