Introduction to OpenWHO Free Online Courses 2025
What is OpenWHO ?
OpenWHO is the World Health Organization’s free, open-access learning hub for public-health emergencies.
A major upgrade in January 2025 removed registration and log-in requirements, allowing anyone to stream or download course videos, slide decks and job aids instantly.
All resources remain under the CC BY-NC-SA 3.0 IGO licence.

Why everything remains free
OpenWHO is funded through the WHO Health Emergencies Programme and partner contributions, forming part of the US $1.5 billion WHO 2025 Health Emergency Appeal.
Making critical knowledge freely available is considered an in-kind contribution to global readiness
under the International Health Regulations (2005).
Explore the channels, download what you need and keep learning—because the next emergency won’t wait.
