Introduction to National Job Portal
Do you know how many job opportunities are available on the National Job Portal?
The National Job Portal is one of more than twenty-three services available on E-LMIS. More than 55,000 new job opportunities are posted on this service every month.
Jobs are offered in three options on the National Job Portal. They are overseas job opportunities, domestic job opportunities, and remote job opportunities. Especially, remote job opportunities are emerging that will benefit many professionals.
This system was developed by the Minister of Labor and Skills and includes foreign job opportunities, so register now and join the system.

Step by Step Guide to access the national job portal
After you finish registration on the E-LMIS portal and biometrics identification you will be able to access the national job portal. The portal will let you access thousands of local and foreign working opportunities all in one place. You can use this step by step guide to start applying on vacancies listed on the national job portal.
Step 1: go to lmis.gov.et and sign in
Step 2: Choose “National Job Portal” among the services listed on the left
Step 3: Click on “Search Job lists”
Step 4: Choose among one of the 3 services (overseas worker, foreign remote works and local works)
Step 5: You can filter jobs by sector, field of study, skills, qualifications etc…
After Step 2 You can use job preferences to specify your interest for further tailored recommendation of job vacancies.
Please note that you will only be able to access the national job portal after you After you finish registration on the E-LMIS portal and biometrics identification
