Job description

 

St Luke Hospital is a non-profit organization operating under a public-private partnership scheme. It is located in Wolisso town, South West Shoa Zone, Oromia Regional State, Ethiopia, approximately 114 km away from Addis Ababa. The hospital is dedicated to providing high-quality medical care to the community and is committed to excellence in healthcare services.

 

Job Description:

 

  • Conduct laboratory tests and procedures to diagnose medical conditions.
  • Operate and conducting preventive maintenance of laboratory equipment.
  • Collect and analyze blood, tissue, and other samples.
  • Prepare and manage laboratory reports and documentation.
  • Ensure adherence to laboratory safety protocols and standards.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide accurate test results.
  • Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities.

Contract Duration: 1 year with possible extension

 

Salary: As per hospital salary scale

 

 

Job requirements

 

Required Qualifications:

 

  • Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology from a recognized institution.
  • Valid license to practice as a Laboratory Technologist in Ethiopia.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
  • Strong analytical and technical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality laboratory services.
