We are looking for an experienced Internal Medicine Specialist to be part of a dynamic and growing team that puts patient care first. What You’ll Do:

  • Lead in Patient Care: Conduct thorough patient assessments, diagnose, and treat a variety of internal medical conditions in adult patients.
  • Personalized Treatment Plans: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Chronic Care Management: Oversee and manage long-term care for patients with chronic conditions, collaborating with specialists to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Health Education: Empower patients with knowledge and strategies to prevent illnesses and maintain long-term health.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay at the forefront of medical advancements and contribute to clinical research to improve patient care.
  • Clinical Leadership: Take charge as the clinical focal person, overseeing treatment outcomes, ensuring the highest standard of patient care, and actively contributing to quality improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work closely with nursing staff, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and effective treatment planning.
  • Emergency Care: Provide timely medical intervention in emergency situations, ensuring prompt and accurate diagnosis and treatment.
  • Monitor and Follow-Up Care: Regularly review patient progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and provide continuous monitoring for improvement.
  • Patient Advocacy: Act as an advocate for patient care, ensuring that each individual receives the highest level of attention, respect, and care.
  • Medical Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards.

Job requirements

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • Medical Degree (MD) from a recognized institution.
  • Board Certification in Internal Medicine with a passion for helping others.
  • Valid Medical License to practice in Ethiopia.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively within a team and build relationships with patients.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development and evidence-based medical practices.
