Introduction
The Ethiopian Nurses Association (ENA), in partnership with JHPIEGO Rwanda, is thrilled to announce a Rwanda Training Opportunity for Nurses. This initiative aims to enhance the skills of nursing professionals through specialized short-term training in Kigali, Rwanda.
Opportunity Details
Eligibility: Open to members of the Ethiopian Nurses Association.
Training Duration: Short-term, specific dates to be confirmed.
Location: Kigali, Rwanda.
Duration: Three to six month

Roles and Responsibilities
Selected candidates will be expected to:
1. Prepare comprehensive plans for teaching and learning.
2. Deliver didactic learning in classroom settings.
3. Facilitate and supervise learning in clinical skills labs, clinical practice sites, and community outreach sites.
4. Design and conduct assessments to evaluate student knowledge, skills, and attitudes.
5. Monitor and revise teaching strategies based on student feedback.
6. Actively participate in curriculum/course/module review and strengthening processes.
Required Criteria
- Must be a member of the Ethiopian Nurses Association.
- Possess a master’s degree in nursing.
- Have at least five years of experience as a teaching faculty in classroom, skills lab, and clinical environments.
- Be clinically active and proficient in clinical competencies.
- Previous training in teaching, learning, and assessment methods is essential.
- Fluency in English is required.
