Job description
The intern will support health system strengthening (HSS) activities under the supervision of the HSS Specialist. This role includes assisting with planning, organizing, and monitoring nutrition-related activities in collaboration with the Regional, Zonal and Woreda level government counterparts and other partners. The intern will gain hands-on experience in capacity building, mentorship, and quality improvement processes related to HSS efforted for nutirition service programing at Health facility and Community level.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and implementing health system activities related to nutrition.
- Support capacity-building planning and organizing for health workers and community volunteers.
- Contribute to improving the quality of nutrition services by supporting quality improvement initiatives and efforts in the planning, organizing and communication parts of the preparation.
- Collaborate with team members to prepare reports and project documentation.
- Work closely with government and partner teams to ensure smooth implementation of activities.
Assist with collecting and organizing data for program monitoring at office

Job requirements
Qualifications:
- Recent graduate on degree in Public Health, Nutrition, or a related field.
- Interest in learning about health systems and nutrition programs.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.
