1. Position: Medical Radiology Technologist
.
Job description
Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare patient for imaging procedures, explaining the process and answering any questions.
- perform diagnostic imaging examinations on patients. The technologists operate magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), CT scanners, X-rays to create diagnostic images
- Prepares patients for their diagnostic exams, positions them, and operates audiological equipment.
- Keeps the quality of service by producing quality images, follow safety procedures to patient & employees.
- Safely handles the medical equipment he/she operates.
- Willing to work also on C- arm X-ray & Digital Subtraction Angiography (DSA) machine after on job training.
- Provide care with knowledge, skill and according to the FMHACA standard policy and protocol of the hospital.
- Works with healthcare team members to assess, implement, plan, or evaluate patient care plans
- Follow physician instructions regarding the area of the body to be imaged.
- Conduct quality control checks on imaging equipment & ensure images meet diagnostic standards.
Working Condition
The working condition will be shift as per the hospital demand

Duties Minimum Specification Requirement
Educational Qualification & Work Experience
- Degree in Medical Radiology Technology
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience
Knowledge & Skill requirements
- Certificate on BLS and ACLS training.
- Valid Medical License
- Experience on CT scan or MRI (at least one of them)
- Have good communication skill, good administrative and managerial skills & have computer skills.
- Strong physics and math skills, and excellent medical knowledge.
- Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Language: Fluent in English (oral & written)

2. Position: Ultrasound Radiology
Job description
Job Summary
The Division of Radiology Unit at Silk Road General Hospital is seeking a full time UltraSound Radiologist with Echocardiography skills& also Specialist shall be available for 9 hrs per day; may be called in emergency situations
Duties & Responsibilities
- Preparing the diagnostic equipment before appointments
- Discussing the procedure and medical history with patients
- Positioning the patient to produce the highest-quality images
- Creating images of organs and tissues for diagnostic and assessment purposes using an ultrasound transducer
- Identifying potential abnormalities detected with the images
- Providing a summary of the findings and documenting it in patient records
- Communicating with physicians and other medical team members, who use the images to make a diagnosis
- Able to perform general abdominopelvic, soft tissue, obstetric, Doppler study of the major vessels and produce reliable results
- Assist other doctors in performing interventional procedures
- Perform bedside ultrasound for selected patients
- Participate in scientific discussions of the medical team
- Experience of working with Echocardiography
