1. Position: Medical Doctor
Job description

Integrated Health Service (IHS) Global Consultancy is a health and nutrition consultancy firm based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Established to address the complex challenges in healthcare, IHS Global is dedicated to advancing integrated health solutions across policy, program, and practice levels. We envision a comprehensive, integrated, and personalized promotive and preventive health services for people in all living conditions. IHS Global Consultancy is seeking a medical doctor for its MELA Wellness Center in Addis Ababa. The Wellness Center focuses on integrated physical, mental, and emotional well-being to tackle non-communicable diseases (NCDs) and enhance community health through promotive and preventive services.
Responsibilities:
- Client Care: Conduct thorough physical examinations, administer laboratory workouts, diagnose health issues, and formulate evidence-based nutritional and exercise plans tailored to individual client’s needs in accordance with the wellness center standard protocol.
- Integrated Health Approach: Collaborate with nutritionists, mental health professionals, and fitness trainers to develop comprehensive care plans addressing multiple health dimensions.
- Chronic Disease Management: Monitor and manage patients with chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and cardiovascular diseases through regular follow-ups and adjustments to treatment while regulating meal, exercise, and life style plans.
- Mental Health Support: Screen clients for mental health issues, provide initial assessments, provide life coach and holistic medicine treatment approaches, and refer to mental health specialists when necessary.
- Health Education: Educate clients about disease prevention, healthy lifestyle choices, diet, exercise and the importance of regular check-ups.
- Community Outreach: Participate in community health initiatives, workshops, training and seminars to promote awareness about integrated health service strategies.
- Research and Development: Stay informed on the latest medical research and practices to enhance client care and contribute to wellness center program update and service provisions.

Job requirements
.
Qualifications:
- Medical degree (MD or equivalent) and valid medical license in Ethiopia.
- Experience in family medicine, integrated Or Functional medicine, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of NCDs, mental health, Nutrition and physical rehabilitation.
- Experience in meal planning and exercise prescriptions is desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

2. Position: Nutritionist/ Dietitian
Responsibilities:-
- Nutritional Assessments: Conduct detailed assessments of clients’ dietary habits, health history, and lifestyle factors to create personalized nutrition plans.
- Individual Counseling: Provide one-on-one counseling sessions to guide clients in making healthier food choices that align with their health goals, including managing NCDs and weight management.
- Group Workshops: Organize and lead workshops on nutrition topics such as meal planning, cooking healthy meals, and understanding food labels to promote community health education.
- Collaborative Care: Work closely with the medical and workout planning team to integrate nutritional interventions into integrated care plans, particularly for those with pre-diabetic, diabetes, hypertension, obesity and other diet-related conditions.
- Monitoring and Evaluation: Track clients’ progress and make necessary adjustments to their meal plans based on their health outcomes and feedback.
- Community Initiatives: Engage in community outreach programs to promote nutrition education and awareness, targeting vulnerable populations.
- Research and Advocacy: Stay updated on current nutritional science and public health initiatives to advocate for healthier food and diet practices.

Job requirements
Qualifications:
- Degree in Nutrition or Dietetics from an accredited institution.
- Registered Nutritionist or Dietitian (local or international certification).
