Introduction
Amhara regional state health bureau invites eligible candidates on the following criteria;
Subject: MHNT deployment in prioritized PHEs risk areas of the region
Position: Mobile health and nutrition team in Public Health Emergencies affected areas
Reports to: Deployed health center and/or Wereda health office with a functional relationship with Zonal health department and/or regional IMS/APHI
Duration: minimum of six (#06) months with possible extension based on the situation and budget donor
Location: Amhara NRS health facilities, IDPs collective sites, Holy water sites, development corrider and will be relocating from health facility to health facility or from Wereda to Wereda or from zone to zone based on the prioritization of the situation.

1. Salary payment
The recruitment type is a contract with a daily allowance of 650.00 Ethiopian birrs per day and 500 birrs monthly mobile allowance and 1000 birr for zonal and regional level coordinators in cash without salary.
2. Main responsibilities and tasks of team members
2.1. Health officer
The medical doctor is accountable to the team leader and/or the team deployed health facilities with a functional relationship to the zonal health department and regional APHI.
Essential Educational Qualifications:
A university degree (medical doctor or BSc level or above) from an accredited/ recognized institute with a certified professional license from authorized offices.

2.2. Environmental Health
.
The environmental health is accountable to the team leader and/or the team deployed health facilities with a functional relationship to the zonal health department and regional APHI.
Essential Educational Qualifications
A university degree (BSc level) from an accredited/recognized institute with a certified professional license from authorized offices.
2.3. Mental Health/psychiatry
.
The mental health/psychiatry is accountable to the team leader and/or the team deployed health facilities with a functional relationship to the zonal health department and regional APHI.
Essential Educational Qualifications
A university degree (BSc level) from an accredited/recognized institute with a certified professional license from authorized offices.
2.4. BSc. Nurses
The BSc. nurses are accountable to the team leader and/or the team deployed in health facilities with a functional relationship to the zonal health department and regional APHI.

A university degree (BSc level) from an accredited/recognized institute with a certified professional license from authorized offices.

2.5. BSc. Midwifery
The BSc. midwifery is accountable to the team leader and/or the team deployed health facilities with a functional relationship to the zonal health department and regional APHI.

3. Vacancy on air
➤ The vacancy will be on air for five (#05) working days. It is an emergency position to respond to the returning IDPs, holy water sites, conflict-affected areas, and IDPs in collective sites
4. Job Requirements to all required professions

Experience and Skills
Experience-zero years and/or above working experience for all team members.
Skills – Language: Excellent knowledge of spoken and written English and Amharic to all team members.

5. Place of registration and Date
In all respective zones registered the applicants within 5 working days starting from this date of notification. And shoud send the applicants list to the RHB HR directorates after the dadeline (28/10/2016 G.C).

7. Deployment orientation
➤ Three days’ orientation after the contract agreement will be given together with regional health bureau and public health institute without additional payment.
