Doctors with Africa CUAMM is an international NGOs, based in Italy, established in 1950 with the aim of supporting developing countries in their effort to build sustainable and accessible health systems. The organization’s mission is to reduce the needless loss of lives in development and emergency contexts caused by lack of effective health care, and to contribute to improve health outcomes among the most vulnerable group of the population.
CUAMM has started its mission in Ethiopia since 1980 and Currently is operating in Oromia, SNNP, Amhara, Gambella, Tigray and Somali Region as well as Addis Ababa town Administration.
Main Responsibility
The Training Coordinator supports the project being implemented by Cuamm in the area. He/She supports the project manager in the preparation of comprehensive reports for Local Authorities, donors, Cuamm, and other partners and stakeholders. He/she is also expected to support the local Health Office to monitor and evaluate the health activities.
Job Description:
o Ensure regular collection, management and updating of reliable data related to the project implementation
o Ensure effective Monitoring and Evaluation during project implementation
o Ensure timely data collection, analysis and reporting
o Technical assistance and support to Hospitals and Health Centers in monthly data collection
o Support data collection exercises in relevant hospitals and project intervention areas according to the needs and in coordination with the humanitarian coordinator
o Support and facilitate operational researches and surveys conducted during project implementation
o Participate on the monthly supportive supervision activities with project teams
o Support the project manager in preparing periodic reports to donors and government offices
o Prepare data collection tools, reports and other required documents for the smooth running of CUAMM projects in coordination with the humanitarian coordinator
o Lead the activities related to the Accountability to Affected Population (AAP) of the projects
Any additional assignment, according to the position, given by the humanitarian coordinator

Job requirements
.
Education : Must hold at least BSc Degree in Public Health or related fields,
Experience: Proven NGO experience at least 5 years in public health projects and out of this 2 NGO experience .
Required Competencies:
· Fluent in speaking and writing English, Amharic and other local language
· Relevant work experience in:
o Project implementation together with government bodies and other stakeholders.
o Project design, Planning, implementation, Monitoring and Evaluation Process.
o Monitoring and Evaluation of implemented activities.
o Training, mentoring and supervising Health Professionals, HEWs, and Community Health structures.
o Data collection, entry to different softwares and database.
o Adequate knowledge on the HMIS system.
o Reports writing.
o Preparing communication and information materials and campaigns.
· Computer skills, including Microsoft Office: Excel, PowerPoint
· Excellent organizational skills and multi-tasking ability.
· Ability to consistently meet deadlines.
· Strong communication, presentation and public speaking skills
· Strong interpersonal skills
