Introduction

University of Gondar Call for Postgraduate Application for 2022/23 (2015 EC) Academic Year

University of Gondar wants to accept and teach new applicants for the 2015 EC academic year in regular and extension programs in available fields of study. Therefore, applicants who meet the requirements can apply from August 19 2022 to September 19 2022.

Applicants can apply for both regular and extension programs on the following links.

Deadline: Application is open August 19- October 5, 2022 (Nehasie 13-Meskrem 25, 2015 EC)

Application requirements & Step by Step Application

1. Fill the online application form on portal.uog.edu.et

2. Settle your application fee 200.00 birr for 2nd degree (300.00 birr for 3rd degree) via Commercial Bank of Ethiopia, University of Gondar Special Fund account number 1000018782492

3. Using a Bank transaction reference number (Tr.Ref.) from CBE complete your application processes.

4. Upload in a PDF format,

o For MSc/M.A/MPH/LLM your educational records (Degree and transcript/student copy), Bank receipt (200.00 Birr), signed and stamped sponsorship letter (if you are sponsored by gov’t/org’n), two recommendations, publication (optional).

o For PhD your educational records (Degree and transcript/student copy), Bank receipt (300.00 Birr), signed and stamped sponsorship letter, three recommendations, support letter, concept note, publication.

5. Send your official transcript to University of Gondar Main Registrar Office P.O.Box 196 from your previous Institution.

6. Dates of entrance examination will be notified on the notice board of the respective departments, on http://portal.uog.edu.et and on www.uog.edu.et/registrar/announcement

7. Applicants who presented their degrees from abroad need to attach Equivalence Certificate of their foreign qualification from Higher Education Relevance and Quality Agency (HERQA)

8. If you may not be able to complete attaching your document, use UPLOAD DOCUMENTS tab to finish uploading your documents and then apply.

9. Applying in more than one program Is forbidden, such act will result in complete rejection of your application.

10. Our University will provide dormitory service for postgraduate students with consideration of the available space.
