1. Position: M&E Officer

Job Description:

  • Ensure regular collection, management and updating of reliable data related to the project implementation

  • Ensure effective Monitoring and Evaluation during project implementation

  • Ensure timely data collection, analysis and reporting

  • Technical assistance and support to Hospitals and Health Centers in monthly data collection

  • Support data collection exercises in relevant hospitals and project intervention areas according to the needs and in coordination with the humanitarian coordinator

  • Support and facilitate operational researches and surveys conducted during project implementation

  • Participate on the monthly supportive supervision activities with project teams

  • Support the project manager in preparing periodic reports to donors and government offices

  • Prepare data collection tools, reports and other required documents for the smooth running of CUAMM projects in coordination with the humanitarian coordinator

  • Any additional assignment, according to the position, given by the humanitarian coordinator

Job Requirements:

  • The candidate must hold Bachelor or Statistics or Public Health with preferable minimum of Four (4) years’ experience working in Monitoring and Evaluation of Public Health Projects.

  • Previous experience within a humanitarian aid organization (INGO).

Salary: Basic 22,360 – 26,660 with additional benefits

 

2. Position: Midwife

 

Job Description:

  • Respect time table and duty roster as planned by the Project Officer and Area Coordinator
  • Ensure implementation of fully MNCH Activities in Kulle,Terkidi/Ngueneyyiel Health facility according to FMOH guidelines.
  • Ensure FANC services to all Clients referred to the health facility, providing the necessary care and information, ensuring accurate clinical and diagnostic assessment and evaluation, adequate medication, including vaccinations, precise diagnosis, prompt identification of risk factors and accurate counseling, Implement adequate problem solving process through accurate and evidence based actions.
  • Keep all ANC documentations and records properly filled and organized
  • Ensure High level standard care during labor, delivery and postnatal care, following accurately the guidelines and the procedures for both mothers, and newborns
  • Keep all Labor, Delivery and Postnatal documentations and records properly filled and organized
  • Perform Normal Deliveries assistance adopting high standard of quality care
  • Prompt identifications of risk factors and implementation of appropriate actions, including referral
  • Be responsible to organize referral in short and effective time to avoid any delay and further complications to clients.
  • Perform PNC as per guidelines, monitoring and ensuring clients follow up
  • Ensure adequate and effective Health Education and Information to clients, implementing Health education morning sessions as well as support the out rich activities
  • Ensure that workplace rooms, material and instruments are properly kept, cleaned and sterilized, mentoring also TBAs and Cleaners.
  • Work with colleagues being respectful of their role and position having a positive attitude and behavior and ensuring a good team spirit work

 

Salary: Basic 19,380 – 24,320 With additional Benefit

Job Requirements:

  • BSc  with 1 year relevant  work experience or Diploma with minimum of 2 years of work experience in Midwifery and essential midwifery qualification with valid professional licence
  • Communication, positive attitude and interpersonal skill
  • Good in Speaking, reading, listening and writing Amharic and  English
  • Flexible, creative and able to interact and (manage) people of diverse cultural backgrounds.

3. Position: Nurse

Job Description:

  • Respect time table and duty roster as planned by the project Officer and Area Coordinator
  • Ensure implementation of fully MNCH Activities in Terkidi/Ngunnyiel Health facility according to FMOH Guidelines, especially Growth Monitoring, OPD U5,EPI and dressing/medication, ensuring high level of quality care
  • Support Midwife colleagues in implementing FANC, Labour, delivery and Post-natal care as per National Guidelines and ensuring high level quality standards care
  • Support the Field Officer in the implementation of Community Activities, Including Outreaches
  • Ensure the implementation of Health education session
  • Promptly identify cases in need of referral and support the logistic of immediate and effective referral /sending patient to ARRA with the initial management at the health post
  • Keep all documentations and Records properly filled and organized
  • Ensure follow up of clients referred to ARRA and build good collaboration with ARRA and UNHCR
  • Supervise, monitor and direct cleaners, being respectful of their position
  • Ensure that workplace rooms, material and instruments are properly kept, cleaned and sterilized, mentoring also TBAs and Cleaners
  • Leave the workplace in order at the end of each shift
  • Provide the colleagues with necessary information on admitted clients at the end of each shift
  • Ensure monthly reports accurately filled and precise
  • Work with colleagues being respectful of their role and position having a positive attitude and behavior and ensuring a good team spirit work and avoid any kind of quarrel
  • Be respectful of rules and regulations as per NGO standard
  • supervisor to ensure service provision

 

Salary: Basic 19,380 – 24,320 With additional Benefit

Job Requirements:

  • BSC Nurse and essential Nursing qualification with valid professional licence
  • Minimum of  3 years working experience with government or NGO
  • Communication, positive attitude and interpersonal skill
  • Fluency in English speaking and local language
  • Flexible, creative and able to interact and (manage) people of diverse cultural backgrounds.
