This course examines the experiences of creating a Resilient PHC System from Covid-19 response lessons from Ethiopia and other countries.
The course has three modules that will provide the participants on the origin and principles of PHC as well as an overview of the Ethiopian Health Extension Program (HEP), The Ethiopian experience in utilizing the HEP to enable and support the Covid-19 response including the country strategy for long term recovery and integration of the pandemic to the existing PHC System, and explore Ethiopian & other countries experience in creating resilient Primary Health care system by taking Covid-19 and other pandemics as an example.
