The Intern will contribute to the development and implementation of ABH’s business development strategy across a variety of clients (including bilateral, multilateral, foundation, corporate donors, and government agencies). S/he will support proposal development and liaison with partners for teaming agreements and collaborative bids. Reporting directly to the Associate Director-Business Development and Partnerships, s/he will be responsible for the following activities: –
- Identify business development (BD) opportunities from online and offline resources.
- Share regular BD activities updates.
- Supporting forging partnerships.
- Supporting proposal packaging process.
- Liaising and networking with international and national stakeholders.
- Leading communications and outreach activities of ABH Partners (both interpersonal and social media).
- Knowledge management and dissemination.
- Represent ABH at key events such as annual meetings of professional associations, government agencies, and events, as required.
- To carry out any other duties and/or responsibilities assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Job Requirements:

- First Degree Graduate in Sociology, Public Health, Business Administration, Management, Communications, and related fields
- Proficient in English and Amharic languages, working knowledge of other local languages will be an advantage.
- A team player with demonstrated learning aptitude.
- No work experience required.
