Job Description:
- Progress Integrated Community Development Organization (PICDO) is a local Civil Society Organization (CSO) would like to invite potential applicants for the following vacant posts under the New Project entitled “Promoting Family Planning (FP) and Maternal Newborn, and Child Health (MNCH) service through Social Accountability Activities” funded by The New Partnerships Initiative (NPI) Ethiopia, NPI EXPAND Project, U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) funded project that supports missions with increasing the availability and utilization of quality health services in Sidama National Regional states.
Main duty and Responsibility
- She/ He will directly manage project implementation in consultation with Program Manager and other PICDO senior staffs
- She/ He will provide regular technical support to woreda level SA officers in implementation of community score card
- Manage regular communication with regional health buraue and zonal health department for smooth project implementation
- Provide timely follow up on status Project deliverables and provide timely solution to constraints to achieve deliverables
- Timely request budget for project implementation
- Ensure Project implemented following national CSC guideline
- Ensure timely program and financial reports submitted to PICDO head office, Government signatories and donor
Duration of employment: one year contract with possible extension.
Report to: Program Manager
Duty station: Hawassa, Sidama Regional State

Job Requirements:
- Required qualification and experience
- BA/ BSC in the Social sciences, Health sciences and other related fields with minimum of 4 years relevant experience
- Computer proficiency using Microsoft Word and Excel, power point, Microsoft access, etc.
- Experience in ESAP or Community Score Card and USAID funded project will be advantageous
- Good English language skill
- Good report writing and communication skills
- Preferably with NGO experience
- Female applicants are highly encouraged
