About
Pharma College has gone through a series of transformations since its establishment as a higher learning institution. The college is a private institution located in the city of Hawassa situated around 275 Km south of Addis Ababa, in Sidama regional state of Ethiopia. The establishment of PharmaCollege dates back to 1996 with the initial name Pharma College of Health Science. It is founded by MR. SeyoumKebede pharmacist by profession.
The College is the first privately owned institute of higher learning to be awarded full-fledged college status in the former SNNP regional state.
Pharma College is a pioneer in pharmacy education training. It started with only 60 pharmacy technology students in 1996E.C (2004G.C). Progressively, the institution launched Diploma programs in public health areas, pharmacy, nursing, etc.
Gradually the college has played a pioneering role in providing quality education, setting affine record. Latter named Pharma College, the institution has promoted innovation approaches and launched Degree programs in various disciplines.
