Job Description:

M&E Officer: is responsible to assist the planning in the overall M&E activities related to the Global Fund project. He provides technical support to Global fund project implementing association’s mentorship and involve in joint supportive supervision. He/she also assists in demonstrating progress in project implementation against the strategic objectives of NOP+. M&E officer is responsible for assisting in training on database development and the generation of regular ad hoc reports for internal and external use. He/she is also responsible for updating of monitoring and Evaluation plans, guidelines, tools and systems for use by regional Global fund project and for Implementing Associations; Supports the identification of indicators to assess progress and organizing periodic ongoing evaluation and progress monitoring events; Undertakes compilation of data for analysis and reporting requirements and, assists the generation of data and compilation of quarterly reports for regular donor reporting purposes. He/she also facilitates Global fund project compilation of regular monitoring reports prepared by different projects along with evaluation recommendations

Job Requirement

Education/Training

• MA/MPH/BA in development, social science, M&E and health related filed

Experience

• A minimum of One year MA/MPH and 3 years work experience for BA in the area of her/his expertise with proven experience on HIV/AIDS related projects

• Language ability: knowledge of Afaan Oromo is mandatory

• NGO Experience is Advantageous

Duty station: Addis Ababa
