Job description:
Opian Analytics is a software and data science company based in Addis. We strive to improve access to quality of health care through the use of advanced technology. We developed and implemented data driven health care solutions including Laboratory Information systems, computerized maintenance management system, health commodity forecasting and quantification models. Opian Analytics is looking to hire two health care professionals including General Practitioners (physicians), Public health, Bio-statistics, health informatics and related professionals with 0 – 3 years of experience.
If you are passionate about data like we are and believe data revolution is the key to better health care, come join a team of analyst who are currently working on exciting and innovative project. You will be responsible for the following but not limited to:
• Research and evaluate data from disparate sources on key performance indicators, publications and other data elements on the state of health care here in Ethiopia.
• Building models and analyzing data to unearth trends and patterns
• Presenting and explaining information, and suggesting improvements
• Work with a team of analyst and programmers in developing requirement document for software development
• Review treatment guideline/protocol and summarize to be used by the programming team.
Requirement:
• BSc/BA in Health Informatics, Statistics, public health, Doctor of Medicine and related filed.
• Outstanding organizational and problem-solving aptitude
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
• Understanding of healthcare procedures
• Experience in data analysis and visualization methods is an advantage
