Pioneer Diagnostic Center is the diagnostic center that give medical diagnoses with advanced imaging equipment, e.i 1.5 Tesla MRI, 128 Slice CT scan, Digital X-Ray, 4D Ultrasound, Digital Mammography and Echocardiography.

Job Responsibilities: –

• Assessing patients prior to their procedures by checking patient medical histories, collecting informed consent, and speaking with both patients and their requesting physicians
• Helping patients better understand the procedures they need and serving as a liaison between the patient, technologist, and requesting physician
• Explaining the procedures needed by answering any questions/concerns patients and family may have
• Responsible for instructing patients on what to do before a particular procedure
• Responsible for preparing the patient on the day of procedure
• Responsible for injecting special contrast mediums into patients
• Apply infection prevention and control procedures while handling patients and machines
• Reassessing patients after their procedure and providing care until they are ready to be discharged
• Attend in ambulance patients who may need critical care service
• Manage crash carts and stocks
• Compile and share reports including incident reports
• Handle any tasks as assigned by supervisor

Job Requirements

Knowledge and Skill

• Knowledge of safety requirements within the diagnostic center
• Skill in obtaining patient information via the computer
• Knowledge of nursing exam policies and procedures
• Skill in maintaining professional relationships with patients, family members and the public
• Knowledge of operating a PC and applicable computer software

Qualification and Experience: –

• BSc Degree in Nursing
• Have minimum work experience of 5 years
• Work experience in a diagnostic imaging center is advantageous
