The Ethiopian Society of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ESOG) would like to invite competent applicants for a full-time position.
Responsibilities:
The Grant Officer will be responsible for
- Seeking grants for ESOG’s projects
- Writing projects based on various ideas
- Monitoring new funding opportunities, assisting in business plan development, working with relevant stakeholders to ensure delivery of high-quality funding submissions
- Conducting training and sharing practical experience on grant writing
- Providing mentorship when actual project proposals are being prepared
- Preparing grant templates and other SOPs
- Developing and Implementing systems and monitoring procedures to ensure proper stewardship of funds on rewards, awards, post-awards, and closeout
Requirement
- Medical Doctor /BSc in Public Health with MPH or Obstetrician and Gynecologist
- Grant seeking experience for projects and related experience
- Writing and managing projects
- Utilizing online resources in seeking grants for projects
- Experience and Information of NGOs and the Development Aid sector in general, both locally and abroad
- Good command in the English Language is writing and verbal communication
- Basic Computer program skills: Microsoft programs and statistical software
