Introduction
Keti medium Dental clinic is a private clinic located in Addis Ababa region, Lafto sub city, around Haile Garment square. Our main objective is to continually update ourselves regarding the best and most current materials and technology available in dental industry, infection control and treat the patient’s dental needs with the highest level of care, skill, judgment and comfort.
Major duties and responsibilities of Dentist.
• Examines patients, diagnoses dental conditions and treat accordingly
• Consult patient and analyze patient needs and explain treatment goals
• Record patient care history by maintain detail notes of appointment with patient including comments, test result and prescription
• Administer local and topical anesthesia when necessary.
• Perform minor surgical procedure to extract impacted or damaged teeth
• Prescribe medicine to improve recovery and control pain after procedures
• Treat infection of the oral cavity, salivary glands, jaw, face and neck
• Provide emergency treatment of orofacial injuries including facial laceration, intra-oral laceration, and fractured facial bones
• Provide health education, advises patients on treatment plans and oral hygiene
• Accurately interprets x-rays and other diagnostic tests.
• Refers patients to higher levelwhen necessary and analyses medical records
• Performs procedures, including basic cleanings, fillings and repairs, extractions.
• Updates patient records and maintains confidentiality.
• Ensure all the infection prevention and control (IPC) is in place including COVID-19 preventive measure
• Follows all guidelines, regulations, and standardsof reginal health bureau.
• Undertake the technical leadership and supervision roll to ensure all the protocols and standards are meets as per the country guideline
Required Qualifications, Skills
• Coordinate and Collaborate effectively with work colleagues (team working)
• Excellent multilingual communication skill (Amharic, Oromiffa and English)
• Enthusiastic and energetic to make positive impact in patient care
• Always show strong relationships with patients and their families an excellent manner and professionalism.
• Knowledge of basic computer operation and IT skill is preferred
• Proven capacity to negotiate with government staffs and others
• Always effective in office time management everyday single day.
Working hours
• Committed to work from Monday to Saturday from 8:30 am in the morning to 5:30 pm in the evening.
Salary = Negotiable
Education and Experience Requirements:
• Doctor of Dental Medicine or Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from an accredited university is required.
• An active dental license is mandatory.
• More than one-year work experience is strongly required.
• Work location Addis Ababa, Haile Garment square
• Employee duration,Minimum of one-year full time work commitment is required
